Ronaldo comes off the bench to secure Portugal's victory against Scotland.

With a comeback, consummated in the second half, Portugal defeated Scotland, by 2-1, and continues to lead, alone, Group 1 of League A of the League of Nations. Cristiano Ronaldo came off the bench to decide the match.

The Scots took the lead early in the result, through midfielder Scott McTominay, following a set piece.

The good Portuguese reaction only had effects on the scoreboard in the 54th minute, when the birthday boy of the day, Bruno Fernandes, made it 1-1.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who was introduced at half-time, completed the comeback late on after hitting the woodwork twice.
After two rounds in Group 1 of League A of the League of Nations, Portugal leads the group with six points, three more than Croatia and Poland, who faced each other today, with the victory smiling on the Croatians
